What better way to celebrate your birthday than with a budgie? And not just any birthday, but 102nd birthday! Our lovely resident Nellie had an amazing day with the team at Tunstall Hall celebrating her special day. Nellie had always wanted a budgie, so the team at Tunstall Hall had clubbed together to help her dream come true. He is named Bertie the budgie, and he is already a firm favourite amongst the staff and residents at Tunstall Hall Care Home.
Nellie’s birthday was celebrated in fine style at Tunstall Hall with staff and residents enjoying the time with her. Her amazing cake was made by the super talented kitchen team, complete with beautiful edible roses on the top.
In our homes, we make sure that every day is special, but birthdays are always celebrated in our homes. After all who doesn’t love a celebration that includes cake? Nellie certainly had a fantastic day and is delighted by Bertie the budgie.
