Our residents at Kirksanton in Millom, Cumbria have had a great time, putting the scare in scarecrows! We always endeavour to participate in local community events, so that our residents can enjoy being part of the wider community. We consider this very important for the emotional wellbeing of our residents, this sense of connection and belonging.
Local households enjoyed making scarecrows to join in the scarecrow festival, and our residents were no different. This year’s theme was sporting heroes, and our staff and residents worked together to make some very fine footballers, seen here resting after a match!
