Our Commitment To The Highest Standards Of Care

Our priority at St Philip's  Care is to ensure that our residents regard our homes as their own home. We want everyone to feel that they are able to retain their independence, privacy, dignity and way of life in an environment that provides them with the safety, security and specialist care that they need to live their lives to the full. Everyone has their own named key nurse or key worker who works closely with them , their family and friends to develop a personalised care plan, which is continually evaluated and reviewed.

Having a person centred approach enables us to meet
the needs of all our residents on a 24 hour basis and address any change in
need. We are always happy to receive feed back from our residents and
relatives, and regularly send out customer surveys as your opinions are very
important to us. This also helps us to improve our service and introduce new
idea.

We also are very happy to facilitate independent advocacy
services. We are committed to our residents retaining links with the local
community and regularly host various in house activities which include the local
community. Residents have the freedom to join in as they choose and are always
encouraged to continue with hobbies and past-times both inside and outside of
the home. We receive regular visits from local GPs, hairdressers,
dentists, opticians, chiropodists and other services can be provided as
requested. We ensure that residents can attend religious services as they wish;
either inside or outside of the home and all religious beliefs are respected at
all times. We have Quality systems in our homes which helps us identifying
any shortfalls and working with the staff to correct them and also ensuring we
are self monitoring the care and quality we are providing  . We constantly
strive to improve and maintain our standards and work with all professionals and
regulators to ensure this
