Bonchester – February/March Newsletter

Unfortunately we have some more of the white stuff, hoping it wont last too long as we have our daffodils and snowdrops coming through.

We had a lovely valentines day , the residents all made cards for one and other and we gave everyone a chocolate rose, the tables looked lovely first thing for all the residents coming down for breakfast, and for some they had in all their years never received a valentine so it was a very touching day all round.

We are having our weekly Fit Borders Session which all the residents are enjoying, its certainly making a difference building on their muscle strength and helping with balance. Lorna our Activities co-ordinator steps in during the week also to carry out exercises.

We are getting prepared for Easter and will be making Easter cards and decorating Bonnets which the resident with the best decorated bonnet  will win a prize.

We are enjoying out Pet Therapy visits every 2 weeks where Rose the daschund visits for lots of cuddles, the residents get so much out of these visits.
